Service Description

This is a kid-friendly tour where families will enjoy learning about common edible and medicinal plants under the safe guidance of an experienced herbalist. Kids are provided with a fun activity pack to keep them engaged, including a map with stickers for each new plant they meet. Families will also learn about what poisonous plants to avoid, and how to identify them. It's an nice (and easy) outdoor activity that the whole family can enjoy. Please note that Family tours are booked as private only. For all tours; We will be meeting at a local cafe first, and then guests will need to drive themselves 5-8 mins to the hiking location. It will be an easy ~1 mile walk, with a little elevation gain. ** We hike Rain or Shine, so dress for the weather, and have simple rain gear if rain is expected.****
