Service Description

Learn about wild edible and medicinal plants with the guidance of an experienced local herbalist. In this hands-on educational experience, we'll forage wild edibles as we stroll through a beautiful nature reserve. You'll get to know several different edible plants and learn about the medicinal properties of the herbs of the forest. Also learn about which plants are poisonous and how to identify them. *Depending on the season, availability and park conditions, foraging might include edible flowers, leaves, seeds, and berries. (we do not forage for mushrooms) For all tours; We will be meeting at a local cafe first, and then guests will need to drive themselves 5-6 mins to the hiking location. It will be an easy ~1 mile walk, with a little elevation gain. ** We hike Rain or Shine, so dress for the weather, and have simple rain gear if rain is expected.****
